I moved to New York many years ago, let's just say I have lived the same number of years in Bolivia as in NYC. Yet, Bolivia is the place I call "home." When you are not in the place you call “home” and you miss it, what comforts you? For me “home” is Bolivia, and traditional foods from home like Salteñas bring me back. I couldn’t find them in New York but then, @bolivianllamaparty came along and their salteñas are as good as any that you find home.
